Japanese Magazine Subscriptions

CDJapan offers a wide variety of Japanese magazine subscriptions for customers worldwide. Place your subscription orders in a few easy steps, and regularly receive the current issues packed with exciting new information and photographs and much more, soon after they are published in Japan!

Placing Your Subscription Orders

Browse by subjects to look for your favorite magazines. Once you¡Çve found them, select the subscription period (3 months, 6 months, 12 months) and click on "Add to Cart" button. Subscription period determines the number of issues you receive.

Issues are sent soon after they are published in Japan. "Next Issue" displyed on the details page shows when the next issue will be published, and it is also the date the first issue of your subscription is sent.

To order more than one unit of subscription for the same magazine, change quantity in the shopping cart before proceeding to checkout. You will receive the issues in one package. However, it is not possible to send different magazines together, and magazines cannot be sent together with any other type of items.

New issues of magazines are sent to you soon after they are published in Japan. How soon you receive them depends on the shipping option you select.

Shipping charge for a magazine subscription order is determined by shipping charge per issue and the subscription period (number of issues you receive), and also on the units of subscriptions you purchase.

Look for the shipping charge per issue for different world areas on the details page. Refer to the shipping chart to determine the area that applies to your subscription order.

Payment Options

CDJapan accepts Credit Cards and Check Cards (VISA, VISA Check Card, VISA Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Check Card, American Express, Diners Club, JCB) for magazine subscriptions. The charges will be made on your card at the time you place your subscription orders. Please note that magazine subscriptions are non-refundable.

Currently, no other payment method is available for magazine subscriptions.

Magazine Subscriptions Status

Check the detail of your subscription orders, including the remaining issues and the status in Customer Account as detailed below:

1. Sign in to Customer Account
2. Click on "Order Status/Details/History"
3. Select the magazines from the pull down menu under "List by Magazine Subscripitons" and click on "Go" button

Subscription Renewal

Renew your subscription by placing your subscription order for the same magazine two weeks before the next current issue is published. About one month before your magazine subscription expires, we¡Çll contact you by email to remind you that it¡Çs about time to renew your subscription. Make sure to do so before the renewal deadline mentioned in the email to receive the next current issue without an interruption. Please note that your magazine subscriptions won¡Çt be renewed automatically.

Subscription Service Provider

Nippan IPS Inc. is the provider of the magazine subscriptions available at CDJapan, and they carry out the shipping of magazines. We will share your name and the shipping address strictly and only for that purpose. They are contrractually obligated to protect the confidentiality and the security of the personal information we share, and they are also contractually prevented to use personal information we share for any other purpose, and it will not be shared with any other third party. Magazine Addition Request

CDJapan welcomes your requests for addition of magazines! If there are Japanese magazines that you'd like to subscribe to that are not available in our magazine subscription store, feel free to contact CDJapan Customer Support. We'll look into the availability and add them if possible. Please write the magazine names and also include as much information and description about them as you can.
