'Hoshi wo mezashite' isn't only the image song for Happy feet, it's a cute song and was a total image change from the songs NEWS had before. Totally differente tune and refreshing. It's kind of a new stil compared to older songs. It suited the situation NEWS was in at that time. Bonus DVD is funny. Definitely one of the best NEWS songs up till now.

So long till they came back and this single brought back NEWS's power.The main song is just LOVE! Can't help smiling and feeling genki when hear it.And another song, "Best friend" is such a sweet song about friendship.I fall in love with NEWS again.This time deeper than before.The single would be perfect with Uchi's and Kusano's voices.
I could wax lyrical and go on and on about the title song, Hoshi wo Mezashite, but that would be kind of dumb. By the way, this is a review of all the tracks including both Regular Edition and Limited Edition songs (what? I bought both) as well as the packaging of each, since I happen to have them anyway. Anyway, about Hoshi wo Mezashite. What is so great about this song, you ask? The composition! The arrangement! The beautiful way they change keys twice but subtly! The Tegoshi solos! The Ryo solos! The LYRICS! This is NEWS' come back song, and the lyrics are supposed to express their feelings for the fans. Yes, yes, I was touched, okay? About the packaging.. I really love both versions a ton. The limited edition has a booklet almost thick enough to be an album booklet, and the photoshoot is wonderful. The DVD that came with the limited edition was so awesome. The concert footage and CD booklet shooting footage was just absolutely wonderful.
