80年代黄金の大映ドラマが、BOXシリーズとしてavexよりリリース!! 1985年12月4日から1986年4月16日までフジテレビで放送された「ヤヌスの鏡」のDVD-BOX。普段は真面目な優等生だが時として凶悪な不良少女に変貌してしまう高校生・小沢裕美をヒロインに、誰もが心の奥底に抱く"変身願望"の危うさと"多重人格"の恐怖を描く異色の青春ドラマ。原作は「ジキルとハイド」の少女版とも言える宮脇明子の同名漫画で、ヤヌスとは前後二つの顔を持ち物事を内と外の両面から見る事ができたという古代ローマの神。全19話の前半を収録したDVD4枚組。
